Sneak Peek...
It's been wonderful receiving emails and pictures from some of you over the summer - so good to know that everyone is partaking of things they enjoy. It's going far too fast!
July 31st is going to be here in a blink of an eye and I know that many of you are wondering what the schedule looks like for our first two staff days together. So the primary purpose of this blog post is to give you the agenda! I want to invite all staff, who can attend, to join us on Thursday, July 31st and Friday, August 1st.
It's essential that we practice what we believe - that relationships are at the core of building a learning community and through shared experiences, we generate our values and vision. I also hope it will be fun and not too intense, as I'm the first to admit how painful the transition is from summer freedom back to the heavy demands of our work responsibilities. I tried to provide you with some time to work in your classroom/office, as I know that is a high priority.

Wendy, Billie, and Lisa B. hiking Bear Creek
Lonnie participated in the Outward Bound Teacher Practicum this summer. She crossed a river by Tyrolean Traverse and rappelled down a 120 ft cliff high on a mountain. Impressive!
Sorry - I couldn't figure out how to get this picture rotated! Just turn your head... |
Bravo Lonnie! |

Try not to count the days...
Miss you all.
