Ah... Fall Break

I'm just about to change out of my comfy sweatpants and get up from this comfy chair where I've been catching up on email and drinking my morning coffee. Time to put on my 'project pants' - which can just about stand up on their own from the layers and splotches of house stain accumulated over the last weeks.

There's something about Fall Break that is extra special to me - something about this time of year that nurtures my soul. Maybe it's the changing weather that makes me feel like turning inward? Lots of things on my 'to-do' list that include: cutting back plants outside to tuck them in for the winter, covering up outside furniture, bagging leaves that have fallen, turning on the heat and heading inside when the outside temperature is falling, putting away shorts and digging out sweaters...

I always wonder, why doesn't that make me sad? It doesn't - I love it. I'm so grateful to live where there are seasons - both outside and within.

Many of us are introverts, and it's no surprise we love this time of year - check out this article - it's a good one!

Looking forward to seeing you all on Monday. As we say goodbye to the break and step back into our work shoes, I'm always so grateful we have Monday to do that. I'm eager to see you and reconnect.
